Date(s) - 13/09/2018 - 14/09/2018
Students, LST’s, Land Surveyors, Sponsors and Guests! Please join us for the 2018 Case Wagenaar Memorial BCLS Golf Tournament on September 14 at the Kamloops Golf and Country Club located at 6 – 2960 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, BC. Case Wagenaar served as President in 1987 and was actively involved in numerous committees including the Entertainment Committee, which started some of the first golf tournaments in the 1970’s. Sadly, Case developed cancer in 2008 and passed away from it in 2012. This year ALL proceeds will go towards the BCLS Foundation.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sandman Signature Kamloops Hotel for Thursday and Friday, September 13th and 14th, 2018 with a Standard King or 2 Queen room rate of $120/night. All information for booking is contained in the registration package below.
*Please note there is a slightly new format for 2018.
The tournament is TEAM SCRAMBLE format so it’s encouraged to register as a 4-person team, however singles will be matched up with other members and/or sponsors. This is a great way to involve staff, clients, and all members of the Association. You are also encouraged to form teams from varying offices and/or companies.
This year we will be using a handi-cap (HC) system for scoring. Please provide your HC (or your best guess of one), on the registration form. If you don’t play very often, or don’t know your HC, please use a maximum of 40.
Registration deadline is August 1, 2018.
It is our pleasure to invite you to join in supporting this event. In addition to enjoying a round of golf among friends, your involvement and support will help raise proceeds for the BCLS Foundation. The two primary objectives of the Foundation are to create and maintain a library of historical and current reference material, and to financially assist students who wish to pursue a career in surveying.
The following package outlines the sponsorship opportunities for the 2018 Tournament. These sponsorships are designed to offer premium sponsor recognition and visibility throughout the event.
