BRITISH COLUMBIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The British Columbia Institute of Technology is once again offering the online course, GEOM 7101 Land Information Systems. The course is specifically designed to help prepare candidates to successfully write the exam for CBEPS Schedule II Item 5, Land Information Systems and Management, but will also be of interest for practicing surveyors who want to refresh their knowledge of GIS/LIS. Based on the study resources specified by CBEPS, participants will use the Internet, textbooks, and GIS and related software to gain an understanding of the concepts and techniques of GIS/LIS.
