Land Surveyors in Training
Land Surveyors in Training are required to write the following professional exams:
- Statute & Regulations: Parts 1 and 2
- Practical Surveying: Parts 1 and 2
- Field Project
- Professional Assessment Interview
Land Surveyor Associates
Land Surveyor Associates now fall into three categories and are required to write the professional exams noted for each category:
Land Surveyor Associates (Canada Lands Surveyors)
- Statute & Regulations: Parts 1 and 2
- Practical Surveying: Part 2
- Field Project
- Professional Assessment Interview
Land Surveyor Associates (AIT)
(Land Surveyors from Provincial Associations except Alberta)

AIT applicants are required to write the following professional exam:

TILMA applicants are required to write the following professional exam:
