This category is for a cadastral land surveyor from other provinces in Canada or a Canada Lands Surveyor licensed to conduct cadastral surveys.

Land surveyors wishing to become Land Surveyor Associates must fill in and submit the application below. They will be notified of their application status and will be required to sit certain professional examinations under the Canadian Council of Land Surveyors Mutual Recognition Agreement. If not active as a professional Land Surveyor in their home association in the past two years, the applicant may be required to obtain a Certificate of Completion from the Canadian Board of Examiners for Professional Surveyors (CBEPS) and write all of the professional examinations.

  • Credentials Assessment fee:  $25 plus HST
  • Annual Registration fee:  $200 plus HST

 I hereby give my permission for all of my home associations to provide information to the Association of BC Land Surveyors as to any complaints or discipline proceedings that relate to my competence or conduct as a land surveyor.

Please list all Associations with which you are currently registered and/or previously registered. The ABCLS will be contacting those Associations to have a Certificate of Conduct, as approved by the CCLS Labour Mobility Coordinating Committee, completed by the Registrar or designate in each Association. By submitting this form you are confirming that you have listed all Associations and that you are registered as a land surveyir in good standing in at least one of those Associations. If this application is accepted, I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Association. I will forward $28.00 ($25.00 + $3.00 HST) to cover the fee for this application. If accepted I agree to pay annual dues in the amount of $224.00 ($200.00 + $24.00 HST).
